Handling

Simply insert the Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD blood glucose test strip into the test strip slot. The Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD meter activates automatically to draw the blood drop onto the tip of the test strip. After the countdown, the blood glucose meter displays the current reading in large digits on the screen.

Features

The GDH-FAD enzyme complex is less susceptible to interference from reducing substances (e.g. medicines) during blood glucose measurement. As the Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD BTE measurement system can be used with most blood samples (capillary, venous or arterial whole blood), it is frequently used by healthcare professionals. For special hygienic requirements, such as in hospitals or nursing homes, the Wellion NEWTON meters have an eject button.

The Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD BTE monitoring system can be used for blood glucose testing in newborns, as it covers a haematocrit range of 10–70 per cent.

This blood glucose meter is used with the Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD BLOOD GLUCOSE TEST STRIPS. Personal data analysis in the Wellion SiDiary app

Using Bluetooth, users can upload test results to their mobile phone or a computer and track changes in blood glucose levels over time. This is where our Wellion SiDiary data management system comes into its own.
